Prince Harry is reportedly feeling stressed after being told he will not get taxpayer-funded UK security for his upcoming trip to Britain, it has been revealed. The Duke of Sussex was planning to bring his wife Meghan Markle and their two children Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet to the UK with him in July, with the family-of-four expected to stay in a royal residence.

However, it is believed there is a chance Harry, who quit royal life in 2020 and lost taxpayer-funded security, could now come alone if he can’t find a way to bring his family safely. This comes after The Sun revealed that the Royal and VIP Executive Committee (RAVEC) has turned down requests for protection just a week before the family is due to arrive in Britain.

A source told The Sun: “Harry is reassessing things. Ultimately, he is going to do everything he can to find a way to bring them over safely.”

The BBC reported that sources have said that the prince was distraught.

Harry has previously cited security concerns as the reason why his wife, Meghan, and their two children have not set foot in Britain since 2022, with all of Harry’s visits to his home country over the last four years being solo.

In response to the news that the UK taxpayers will not be funding security for Harry, broadcaster Piers Morgan wrote on X: ” Good. Why the hell should we pay for his security?”

Queen Camilla sets condition ahead of King Charles meeting with Prince Harry

Queen Camilla has reportedly set a condition for King Charles to meet Prince Harry and Meghan Markle next month.

According to royal expert Rob Shuter, she has demanded to be in any meeting with the Sussexes.

Sources have revealed Camilla wants to be present for any private meeting between King Charles and the Sussexes, as she “isn’t taking any chances”.

The source said: She wants to hear every word. Charles leads with his heart.

“Camilla worries that, left alone with Harry, he’ll give away the family store in the name of peace.”

Real ‘reason’ Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet won’t be seen on UK trip

It is unlikely Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet will be seen by the British public during their trip to the UK next month.

While they are expected to spend time with members of the Royal Family, including King Charles, they are expected to do so in private.

While Harry and Meghan have not made a comment about this, it is believed that their children will not attend public engagements with them to maintain their privacy.

This is important to the couple, who keep Archie, seven, and Lilibet, five, out of the public spotlight, even avoiding showing their faces on social media.

Meghan Markle in ‘crisis’ ahead of UK return

Meghan Markle is reportedly in “crisis” ahead of her potential return to the UK. She is set to visit Britain with Prince Harry and their children next month.

Coming back to the UK could benefit Meghan Markle, and her brand, As Ever. In New Magazine, royal biographer, Ingrid Seward, warned: “It could be a very good move for her business, but it leaves her with a bit of a crisis because coming to a country where she is so disliked won’t be easy.”

King Charles’ emotional plea to Harry and William remains unmet – not set to reconcile

With Prince Harry set to return to the UK within the next few weeks, all royal fans’ attention is on which royals he will or will not reunite with. Since The Duke of Sussex quit royal life in 2020, his relationships with his relatives have been complicated, especially when he has criticised the Royal Family on multiple occasions.

While it is believed he is set to reconcile with his father King Charles, who he last saw in September, it has been deemed unlikely that Harry will see his estranged brother Prince William. This is because since Harry’s 2023 memoir Spare was released, the princes are not believed to have been on talking terms. This is despite the fact that their father once issued them with an emotional plea.

Prince William gave ‘petrifying’ three-word order to former aide before wedding

A former private secretary to Prince William has disclosed the three-word instruction his employer once issued him — and how it left him “petrified”.

Military veteran Jamie Lowther-Pinkerton served as private secretary to both the future King and his brother Prince Harry from 2005 until 2013. Throughout that time, he also became well acquainted with Princess Catherine, whom he described as a “really cool woman”.

In 2011, the year William and Kate exchanged vows in an unforgettable ceremony at Westminster Abbey, it was Jamie who found himself entrusted with an enormous responsibility.

Disclosing what the weighty three-word order entailed, he told The Times: “I was petrified because he said to me early on, ‘You’re running it.’ And it’s the closest I’ll ever get to a divisional command because you had all these brilliant experts and you didn’t need to do anything.

“You just needed to set the parameters and let people do what they were so bloody good at.”

Meghan Markle has ‘ace up her sleeve’ as she plans bombshell UK move

Meghan Markle may still have one ace up her sleeve, despite her declining popularity in Britain, as she braces for her bombshell return, a royal expert has claimed. The Duchess of Sussex will be coming back to the UK for the first time in four years next month to attend the One Year To Go event for Prince Harry’s Invictus Games 2027, which will take place in Birmingham.

Harry and Meghan will also bring their two children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet. The duchess’s return has sparked conversation about how the British public may perceive it. Meghan saw her popularity in the country plummet following her bombshell exit from the Royal Family six years ago.

Fresh blow for King Charles over big Buckingham Palace decision

King Charles has faced a fresh blow after many people have disagreed with his decision not to call Buckingham Palace home. Just days ago, news broke that the monarch will not move into Buckingham Palace next year when the £369m refurbishment works are completed next spring.

The news, which came as part of the 2026 annual royal finance reports, saw mixed reaction from royal commentators. This is because the King and his wife Queen Camilla were originally believed to be planning to move from Clarence House to Buckingham Palace once the renovation was complete. Instead, the couple will now stay at their smaller London abode, rather than move into the 775-room Palace.

‘Mortified’ King Charles shows true colours after fishmen ‘booted off river’

King Charles was reportedly “mortified” upon learning that a group of fishermen had been “booted off” a river for him, but his response demonstrated remarkable grace. Fishing remains one of the more tranquil pursuits, so it’s hardly surprising that accomplished fly-fisher Charles continues to find opportunities to cast a line, especially considering the demands of the Crown.

However, a recent excursion to Scotland seemingly proved less tranquil after His Majesty allegedly apologised to a group of fishermen who were reportedly compelled to “relinquish the best bit” of the Thurso River for the King. A party of insurance brokers had been enjoying a £4,000 per person fishing expedition near the Castle of Mey in Scotland’s far north, but were left “put out” after being instructed to promptly “relocate”.

Everyone says the same thing as Prince George snapped with Kate in adorable new photo

Everyone is saying the same thing about Prince George today after Kensington Palace released a new photograph of the 12-year-old with his mum Princess Catherine. The Princess of Wales was accompanied by her eldest son recently to visit the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight at RAF Coningsby ahead of Armed Forces Day.

George seemed delighted to tag along with his mum, in what marks his second engagement with Princess Catherine. The soon-to-be teenager also dressed perfectly for a young royal, wearing a shirt and blazer with suit trousers. On the visit, George and Catherine took it in turns to sit in the pilot seat of an aircraft at RAF Coningsby in Lincolnshire.

Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor’s ‘revenge’ plan as he uses 2 royals as ‘fighters’

Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor is reportedly working on a “revenge” that will include two royals, it has been claimed. The former Duke of York, who within the last year has lost his royal titles and royal homereportedly feels like he has been treated unfairly by his brother, King Charles.

While Andrew has kept a low profile, it is believed the former prince does not agree with the treatment he has received since the release of the Epstein files, which showed how he had kept in touch with the late convicted paedophile Jeffrey Epstein even after he was convicted for child sex offences. Andrew has always denied any wrongdoing and accusations. Now, it is believed that Andrew is ready to seek revenge and will use his daughters as “fighters”, according to royal author Andrew Lownie.

Lownie told The Mirror that Andrew views his daughters as “fighters, Princesses of blood […] who should be treated properly”.

Meghan Markle’s presence ‘changes the stakes’ for Harry on UK trip

Meghan Markle visiting the UK with her husband Prince Harry will “change the stakes”, a royal commentator has said. Over the past four years, Prince Harry has only ever visited the UK alone, with his wife Meghan opting to stay at home in Montecito with the couple’s children Prince Archie, seven, and Princess Lilibet, five.

However, next month this is all set to change. This is because if Harry can allay new security concerns, he is hoping to bring Meghan, Archie and Lilibet with him to his home country. This will be the first time the family of four has been in the UK together since 2022.

‘I’m a royal expert – this is why Charles and Camilla prefer Clarence House as their home’

King Charles and Queen Camilla have never hidden their affection for Clarence House. Nevertheless, the recent decision to remain there permanently, even after Buckingham Palace’s lengthy £369million refurbishment is complete, has surprised many royal observers. While Buckingham Palace will continue to serve as the monarchy’s ceremonial and administrative headquarters, the King has opted to keep Clarence House as his private London residence, marking a significant break with royal tradition.

Royal biographer Hugo Vickers believes the explanation is straightforward. Clarence House – found on The Mall, right next to St James’s Palace – simply feels more like a home. Writing in The Times, Mr Vickers argued that the property offers a far more comfortable living environment than Buckingham Palace, describing it as “the nearest thing to a country house in the capital”. By contrast, he painted a very different picture of Buckingham Palace, writing that it is “soulless” and more akin to “a large Edwardian hotel” than a place to enjoy everyday family life.

Prince William’s rarely used title that gives him a £24m fortune

When Prince William became heir to the throne in 2022 upon the death of his grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II, and King Charles’s subsequent accession, he assumed a wave of historic responsibilities. Alongside being named the 27th Prince of Wales, he inherited an extensive array of traditional Scottish and English titles, including the Duke of Rothesay, Earl of Chester and Lord of the Isles.

Yet, it is one of his most historic, understated titles that arguably impacts his day-to-day life the most. By holding the title of the Duke of Cornwall, William took over management of the Duchy of Cornwall, a vast private estate inherited from his father. Spanning roughly 135,000 acres across 20 counties in England, the estate features a vast portfolio of farmland, forests, coastlines, residential neighbourhoods and commercial developments. The financial success of the Duchy ensures that Prince William is entirely self-funded.

Princess Kate’s bold decision when she joined Royal Family – ‘She pushed back’

Catherine, Princess of Wales, is entirely committed to her royal duties and happy to respect centuries-old protocol, but behind palace walls, she has drawn a firm line in the sand regarding her family life. Insiders reveal that while Catherine and Prince William are fiercely dedicated to supporting the monarchy; they have established clear, modern boundaries to ensure their three children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, can enjoy as normal a childhood as possible.

In her new book Divide and Rule: Royal Women and Their Battles, royal author Catherine Mayer has given and insight into Catherine’s early days within the Royal Family. “[Catherine and Prince William] lived on the Welsh island of Anglesey while William served as a search-and-rescue pilot for the Royal Air Force, then relocated to the 10-bedroom Anmer Hall in Norfolk so he could take up a post at the East Anglian Air Ambulance service,” Ms Mayer said. “Their idyll, however, was drawing to a close in more ways than one.”

‘This is the biggest mistake Meghan Markle could make in the UK – will reopen old wounds’

Meghan Markle is set to return to the UK next month with her husband Prince Harry. Her visit, which is also expected to see The Duke and Duchess bring their children Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet to Harry’s home country, will be the first time Meghan has stepped foot in Britain since 2022.

While Harry has made various solo trips over the last few years back to the UK, he has cited security concerns as the main reason why Meghan, Archie and Lilibet have not accompanied him. However, as the family-of-four prepare to journey across the pond together within weeks, it seems that this is no longer a concern. However, Meghan, 44, will probably still feel some nerves stepping back into the country she once called home.
